ANTENATAL BREASTFEEDING PREPARATION

Not just for first time parents, this one hour consultation (ideally around 36-37 weeks gestation), offers the opportunity to connect before your baby arrives. 

Perhaps you’ve had a challenging breastfeeding journey previously and you’re feeling anxious or apprehensive - this catch-up allows an opportunity to discuss the experience and implement a plan for moving forward with positivity. 

During in-home consultations, conversation around what you do or don’t need for breastfeeding, what to expect in those first hours, days and weeks with your breasts and baby and if you wish a lesson in hand expressing colostrum is included. Antenatal Breastfeeding consultations can be one on one, (partner or support persons welcome) or small group sessions can be arranged.

Phone consultation: 30 minutes $50
Antenatal breastfeeding consultation: 1 hour $125
Lactation consultation: 1-2 hours $195
Introduction to Baby Massage: 1 hour $125

Travel fee charged per return km out of the immediate Geelong area
